Born and raised in the prairies, Trent is an established Farmer and entrepreneur with a “Go Get’er mentality” in the heart of Farmland Saskatchewan, with more than 30 years of farming experience. If it’s a plant, he knows how to take care of it!
Southern Prairie Plant Growers is a product of Trent’s personal experience. His journey in finding a natural solution to his suffering and chronic pain for incidents that took place many many years ago is what led to this vision coming true.
Growing a high-quality plant with love, care and making it available for safe consumption is something that he is passionate about.
Moe Ayoubieh, Msc

Moe is a strategic project manager and continuous improvement business professional with +15 years of experience in the worlds of Project and Quality Management and compliance, Supply Chain, Procurement, Inventory Control, Financial and Business Analysis and Customer Care / Retention.
Obtained his Master’s Degree in Strategic Project Planning/Management from Edinburgh, United Kingdom, Moe brings a unique mix of international and domestic experience to the business.
Being a certified Project Management Professional and in Lean Six Sigma, your destination for natural therapy will run at the highest caliber of quality, with product costs optimized to ensure it is affordable and it caters to a wide range of needs and desires.
With the assistance of Dr. Shabaz and team, he will ensure that the facility adapts the latest Good Manufacturing Practices followed in leading facilities in the industry and across all businesses.
Muhammad Shahbaz, Ph.D
Quality Assurance Manager
From the planning of the Southern Prairie Plant Growers facility to the development of in-house laboratory, Dr. Shahbaz’s number one priority has always been ensuring the safety and quality of our products.
Dr. Shahbaz did his doctorate in Plant Physiology from University of Groningen, The Netherlands. He has completed 3 year USDA funded project that focused on Regulation of photosynthetic activity and resource allocation via the copper miRNAs in Poplar, at Colorado State University, CO, USA. Later he joined Worcester Polytechnic Institute, MA, USA. There he worked on National Institute of Health, USA funded project to investigate Copper homeostasis in the opportunistic pathogen Pseudomonas aeruginosa. Later he worked at different quality assurance positions in food industry.
Dr. Shahbaz has over 10 year working experience on tissue culture and hydroponics. He has fortune to study single cell organism to higher plants at field level and at climate controlled facility. We have confidence in that he communicates with plants. He has published 17 research articles in peer reviewed international journals. His scientific knowledge and experience in tissue culture, hydroponics, safety and quality regulations, all contribute to his effectiveness as Quality Assurance Manager.
